What We're Looking For

You know how to write and communicate: Strong writing and clear communication are the foundation of this role. You can take what you learn and turn it into content that makes sense for different businesses, audiences, and brands.

​

You take ownership of your work: You manage your responsibilities and communicate when something needs attention, without someone looking over your shoulder.

​

You're curious and adaptable: Digital marketing changes, clients differ, and priorities shift. You're comfortable learning new tools, researching what you don't know, and adjusting when something isn't working.

​

What You'll Do

As part of our team, you'll:

• Write engaging, SEO-informed social media posts, blog articles, website copy, and other content for assigned clients, including written posts and video.

• Research client industries and audiences to create content tailored to their businesses and marketing strategies.

• Apply SEO principles, including keyword research and optimization, to strengthen client content and online visibility.

• Build out and optimize local business profiles, such as Google Business Profile, and connect and manage tools like Google Analytics for client accounts.

• Participate in client launch meetings and capture detailed information to support the Account Manager.

• Collaborate with the Account Manager to align content and SEO work with client performance goals.

• Maintain organized client documentation within project management tools, and provide friendly, professional customer service by phone, email, and video meetings as needed.

• Participate in team meetings, contribute ideas, and continue learning SEO and content marketing best practices.

Must-Haves

We're looking for someone with:

• Strong writing skills and clear, professional communication.

• Ability to self-manage, stay on task, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

• Willingness to research, troubleshoot, and find solutions when something isn't working.

• Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn.

What Gets Us Excited

You don't need to come in knowing everything. We're comfortable training the right person. That said, we'd be excited to see:

• Experience with SEO, content marketing, or digital media.

• SEO training or certification.

• Experience creating content for different businesses, brands, or industries.

• Experience with Wix and/or Canva

• Basic video recording or editing experience.

We offer:

• $19–$22/hour starting pay, depending on experience.

• 20–40 hours per week, Monday–Friday.

• Three weeks of PTO per year.

This is an in-office position, not remote. Hybrid schedules may be considered after initial training.
